I was tasked with one of the pre-taped sketches for Miley's New Year's Eve Party, an NBC television special. I designed and animated the text treatments for the piece, building a diamond-encrusted display face with beveled facets and specular glints timed to catch the light as each card resolved. The art deco letterforms and jewel surfacing echoed the sequins and gold of the wardrobe, so the type read as part of the world rather than plain text laid over it.
