Hunters

Season 1

Second graphic designer on season one of Hunters, working closely with lead graphic designer Loren Kane to build the graphics for 1970s New York. The show moves through several decades, so the research spanned the 1930s through the present day of the show: wartime documents, Nazi paraphernalia, and other real graphics pulled from the historical record. Recreating that stuff accurately took a lot of care, and we were mindful about it the whole way through.

Bat Cave Research Boards

The research boards were the backbone of the Hunters' base- scripted to hold hundreds of documents the team had gathered while tracking their targets. We built the collection from primary sources, pulling material from the National Archives, the FBI, the CIA, the Holocaust Museum, and NASA, then aged and assembled it so the wall read as years of accumulated work.

Lodz Ghetto

For the episode one flashback to 1940s Poland, we recreated the posters and signage of the Nazi-occupied city. The work was reproduction rather than invention: we sourced surviving Łódź Ghetto material and rebuilt it faithfully, from the German-Polish bilingual Bekanntmachung and Obwieszczenie decrees posted by the Gestapo to Polish resistance posters and period issues of Der Stürmer.
